Joint emergency training took place on the Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline. Subsidiaries of NC QazaqGaz JSC—Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP, Asian Gas Pipeline LLP, Intergas Central Asia JSC, and QazaqGaz Onimderi LLP—attended the event.

During the training, a simulated gas leak was effectively managed in two locations of the outlet gas pipeline on the Akbulak GIS section of the Kazakhstan-China SCS-2 main gas pipeline. Our emergency crews' prompt and successful localization of the leaks is a testament to the effectiveness of the training and the development of their rapid response skills.

"QazaqGaz, as a responsible employer, creates safe working conditions for every employee and makes efforts to create safe workplaces. Events like these are part of our strategy to improve the safety culture in the workplace," said Altay Dzhakubaliev, Head of the HSE Service of QazaqGaz NC JSC.

This is the first time such training has been conducted with the participation of representatives of Trans-Asia Gas Pipeline Company Limited, together with which QazaqGaz operates and maintains the Kazakhstan-China and Beyneu-Bozoy-Shymkent gas pipelines.
