A subsidiary of JSC NC QazaqGaz - JSC KazTransGas Aimak - connected the village of Ibata, Sauran district, Turkestan region, to natural gas. The project is being implemented as part of the execution of the instruction of the head of state on gasification of the regions of Kazakhstan. The ceremony of connecting gas supply was attended by the Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC "QazaqGaz" Sanzhar Zharkeshov and the first deputy akim of the Turkestan region Zulfukhar Zholdasov.
“This year, the national company connected 19 settlements to gas. To date, thanks to the implementation of the project, about 8,000 residents of the village of Ibata have gained access to natural gas. Thus, 13 out of 14 districts have been supplied with gas in the Turkestan region. By the end of the year, it is also planned to connect the settlements of Oyik, Bershintobe and Shoktas of the Sauran region,” said Sanjar Zharkeshov.
At the moment, the level of gasification of the Turkestan region is 74%. The connection point for the settlement of Ibata was the AGDS "Eskі Ikan", the capacity of which is 33.3 thousand m3/hour. The length of the gas pipelines of the settlement is 99.3 thousand meters.
“Today, the long-awaited blue fuel appeared in the village of Ibata. Now all residents have the opportunity to bring gas to their homes before the onset of cold weather. I believe that this innovation will be the starting point for the development of the settlement and will have a positive impact on the ecology of our region,” said Zulfukhar Zholdasov.
In addition, the head of QazaqGaz inspected the progress of preparatory work for the autumn-winter period at the Turkestan AGDS. It should be noted that the number of subscribers is 235,791, of which 36,659 are in Turkestan. In total, QazaqGaz plans to connect 76 settlements to natural gas in 2023.
It should be recalled that earlier a subsidiary of the national company "QazaqGaz" - JSC "KazTransGas Aimak" - connected the settlements of Baiterek and Zhambyl-2 of the Kelessky district of the Turkestan region to natural gas.
