Career

Al-Farabi Satbayev has over 10 years of experience in corporate law, risk management, and compliance practice.


He has participated in the legal support of major investment projects, strategic management of legal risks, corporate security, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including cross-border M&A transactions.


Previously, he held positions at the Kazakhstan Investment Development Fund, the “Samruk-Kazyna” Sovereign Wealth Fund, and its portfolio companies (KazTransOil JSC, KazMunayGas NC JSC, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy NC JSC), as well as served as Managing Director for Legal Affairs at Kazakhtelecom JSC.
