Human rights must work to uplift human dignity

QazaqGaz reaffirms the Group's commitment to human rights in accordance with the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the ILO Labor Standard. Respect for dignity, fundamental freedoms and human rights with respect to all stakeholders is at the core of our corporate values as set out in our Code of Business Ethics. Human rights principles are reflected in a number of internal regulations covering our standards on working conditions, business ethics, stakeholder engagement, social and environmental responsibility.

We comply with the requirements of the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan: 

•no one may be subjected to any discrimination in the exercise of labor rights on the grounds of origin, social, official and property status, gender, race, nationality, language, attitude to religion, beliefs, place of residence, age or physical disabilities, as well as membership of public associations. 

•We do not use child labor, 

•we do not practice forced labor, 

•we recognize the equal rights of all employees regardless of their race, religion or gender. 

Our approach to personnel motivation is based primarily on the principles of ensuring a decent level of remuneration, transparency and respect for employee rights. The Company fully fulfills all social obligations to its employees in a timely manner by making the following payments in addition to wages and bonuses for meeting production targets: material assistance to employees, social benefits, social guarantees, compensation payments, lump-sum payments and bonuses.
