On August 4–6, 2022, the first meeting of the Youth Council took place in Almaty, in which the leaders of the youth councils of the group of companies (QG, RD QG, GBSH, AGP, KRG, GPCI, ICA) took part.
As part of the rally, a meeting was held with the company's leaders, and young people learned first-hand about plans for the coming years.
In addition, the children took part in the traditional action of Samruk-Kazyna JSC “Road to School”, and later together they visited an orphanage in Talgar, delighting the children with gifts and attention.
Youth is a great strategic value for QazaqGaz. The group of companies of the national gas operator pays special attention to young personnel. For advanced training, various options and forms of training are offered annually. Professional skills competitions, sports and creative competitions are organized on an ongoing basis. Youth councils are active in all regions. Work with youth in the company is based on the Youth Policy Program. It consists of a whole complex aimed at improving professional skills, raising corporate spirit, developing a system for attracting young people, their effective adaptation and retention, involvement in solving corporate problems, developing international youth cooperation, spiritual, moral, patriotic education, as well as promoting the values of healthy lifestyle and sports.
The Youth Council of QazaqGaz NC JSC actively attracts young specialists of the company, including from subsidiaries and affiliates and production branches.
Members of the youth council make every effort to maintain the status of the company, even outside working hours they help solve organizational issues.
- On the eve of the New Year, the guys held the “Wish Tree” campaign.
It was organized for children from low-income families, as well as special children, who, like everyone else, were expecting a miracle on the eve of the holiday.
- On June 13 of this year, on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, Asian Gas Pipeline LLP organized the visit of representatives of the Republican Blood Center to the central office to collect donor blood. More than 50 employees became donors that day.
- The company’s youth council held an “Eco-Subbotnik” campaign in the mountains of Almaty.
- The guys don’t forget about the older generation. They annually congratulate and support industry veterans and pay attention to them.
- Organized a visit to the younger group of the specialized complex for orphans “Zhanuya” at the expense of the employees’ own funds.
- Activists of the Youth Affairs Council took part in greening the city - they planted trees in the park along Lake Sairan and on the territory of kindergarten No. 49.
- Supported the environmental campaign Almaty Clean & Green.
- On July 2, 2023, we took part in IRONMAN 70.3, which took place in the capital. The race consisted of three stages: a two-kilometer swim, a 90-kilometer bike race and a 21-kilometer run.
