Every year NC QazaqGaz JSC sets itself the task of providing workers with quality education. Professional training and development of working personnel is one of the long-term and priority areas of the Company’s personnel policy due to the fact that the professional level of workers is the most important factor in increasing the efficiency of safe production, increasing labor productivity and improving the quality of work. Every year, the budget of QazaqGaz NC JSC provides funds for training and advanced training of personnel.
At NC QazaqGaz JSC, in accordance with the Rules for the Technical Operation of Main Gas Pipelines, technical facilities of main gas pipelines must be operated by specially trained personnel. Personnel servicing high-risk facilities must undergo training (retraining) in courses specially created by enterprises according to programs agreed upon with local state technical supervision authorities.
NC QazaqGaz JSC has programs aimed at personnel development, such as “Training and advanced training”, and has also developed a “Young Specialist” program. “Training and advanced training” is an ongoing personnel development program.
Employees in the Group of Companies of QazaqGaz NC JSC are trained on an annual basis in advanced training courses, seminars, internships and trainings both at the Samruk Business Academy in Astana and at other training centers in the Republic of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries. and far abroad.
- In August 2023, the “Stop Road Accident” campaign was held for QazaqGaz employees to explain the importance of fastening a seat belt while driving in a car. As part of the “Stop Accidents” campaign, employees were aware of the risks of getting into road accidents, and also had the opportunity to practically evaluate the effectiveness of a seat belt during an accident. A simulator was installed at the event site to simulate a frontal collision. The event was attended by Managing Director for Corporate Governance, Social and Labor Relations and Labor Safety of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Gibrat Auganov and Chairman of the Board of NC QazaqGaz JSC Sanzhar Zharkeshov.
It should be noted that the event is held as part of the implementation of the Action Plan for Industrial Safety of the QazaqGaz NC JSC group of companies for 2023. The “STOP Road Accident” campaign started in April 2023 at the enterprise of NC QazaqGaz JSC in Kostanay. Similar actions took place in Aktobe, Uralsk and Atyrau. By the end of the year, the traffic accident simulator will be tested by employees of departments in the central and southern regions of the republic.
- On August 4, 2023, Samruk-Kazyna JSC held the II Forum on Industrial Safety. The event was held under the slogan “A safe and healthy future of work.” During the Forum, speakers spoke about the current state and challenges in the field of industrial safety in the portfolio companies of Samruk-Kazyna JSC.
